Enid Leone Proctor Seely, beloved wife of Melvin Bruce Seely of Lethbridge, AB, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, August 30th 2013, at the age of 85 years.
She is the loving mother of Bruce and Melanie Seely of Spanish Fork, UT, Keith Seely of Lethbridge, AB, Wade and Karen Seely of Blackfoot, ID and Alan and Lori Seely of Lethbridge, AB, 13 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren. Survived by her husband Melvin Seely, brother Phil (Darlene) Proctor, brother- in- law Vern (Kaye) Seely, brother-in-law Don Nilsson, and all her children.
Born in Stirling, AB on May 11, 1928 to Auer Winchester Proctor and Clementina Beatrice (Erickson) Proctor the youngest of ten children. She lived all her life in Stirling up to the time she married except for four months when she attended Brigham Young University. She married her eternal sweetheart on September 29th, 1948 in the Cardston Alberta Temple.
She and her husband lived in Lethbridge for most of their married life and raised four sons. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed her many opportunities to serve in her church. Her endearing personality and love for others gave her many life-long friends.
Friends may meet the family on Tuesday September 3, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:00pm at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703 – 13th Street North, Lethbridge or from 10:00 to 10:45am prior to the service at the church.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 11:00AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, LETHBRIDGE EAST STAKE CENTRE, 4105 Forestry Avenue South, Lethbridge. Interment to follow in the Stirling Cemetery.
